The third face is the one I like most.  ^_^

Not just the face, but the way he appears to have moved past the border, as he's turned his scaly face to get a good look at the viewer.  I do wonder what he'd have to say.  

And the second image is also interesting as well, as it's one that wasn't shown on-screen.  And I do think you did well with this interpretation of how he'd look between the two shots.
