considering that it is the hand of a dead body and not Dexter's actual hand; yes it is supposed to be that color. the drawing is based off the season 1 promo photo where dexter is poseing on the hand of a corpse

I love this ^^ and i love dexter he is so charismatic , this serie is awesome i just started this serie last month and now i'm on season 3 , but someone told me this season is not as good as season 1 and 2, I hope i'm not going to be disappointed.....

well considering that he was the one who found Rita with their baby son sitting in a pool of her blood Dexter was indeed shocked,and remorseful and he blames himself for her death...cant tell you anymore without spoiling season 4 and 5 for you...Lets just say that dexter goes through a lot of changes in season 5

I have a question, though: Why did you decide not to use skin tones for his hand and leave it white? It looks creepy and dead, but I feel like more of a skin-tone would be nice too.

I drew the hand that way because it isn't Dexter's hand
it is indeed a corpse's hand
it is frm the season 1 promo poster where Dexter is resting his chin on a dead person's hand
