Evelyn Hallow lived in fear of the outside world. An agoraphobic, she struggled with even picking up the mail outside. Yet she watched from inside as everyone else laughed, and played, and enjoyed themselves. Eve grew bitter and resentful. She knew that the medicine didn't help, so maybe a more mystical solution could. She spent four long years reading up on demonology and occult rituals and finally got up enough courage to summon a demon of fear, asking to be released from hers. The demon could sense her anger and jealousy and made her a proposition. Become his avatar of fear, spread it like a cancer and she will never have to live in fear again. She quickly said yes and Madame Dread was born!
