I don't typically share things that aren't done cooking, but I've been posting things all day so whatever. The idea is World War II Navy pilot Captain Glen Nash's F4U Corsair gains fantastic abilities and after his presumed demise in combat he uses the plane to battle evil as the adventurer the Flying Phantom.Related content

Was a p-38 lightning in production during his time?
I've always been more fond of them than the mustangs.

I was going to use an F4U Corsair [link] . It was nicknamed the 'whistling death' and it's wings fold up which looks really cool [link] .
