Description
A quick Hulk sketch. I'm going to try my darnedest to do one a day. It's good exercise. And they'll all be for sale at the Phoenix Comicon for cheap.Related content

Now, THIS is how I see the Hulk. As a damned HULK. Not muscles upon muscle with little muscles on the veins. Here he looks like a scary arse, lumbering mass of damage to come.

Very nice. Kind of reminds me of Eric Powell.

That seems to be the consensus. Thanks.

Great stuff man. I really like his weight. You might consider putting all the sketches together in a sketchbook, and selling copies real cheap too. Maybe some type of PCC 2008 exclusive.

I was considering that. But I don't think I have enough stuff to fill a sketchbook. Most of it is chicken scratch.

Just my 2 cents, but if you can get ehough stuff for 20 pages(which would only be like 20 to 30 good sketches). Thats 10 pieces of 8.5 x 11 inch paper folded in half - I think you could blow those out for a buck or two no problem. Try to cram one out and test it at Adventurecon. If you do like 10 copies and sell out. Just do more copies for PCC in January.

That's good advice. I'll give it a shot.

okay, i see what the other guys are saying about the different influences, but this doesn't ring with their style at all. This shines out there on it's own as far as style goes.
well done, brotha!

Man, if I could draw like this all the time I'd be a happy dude. Thanks, Matt!

That was Stan and Jack's inspiration. Why not do the same?

I wasn't aware of that... the Hulk is one that I never really knew the background other than how he became the Hulk. Cool to know.

MMMMMMMM... I like...
I find it incredibly difficult to draw the hulk. I just can't seem to get a grasp on the character.

Looks good man. I keep thinking of Cary Nord's Hulk looking at this, and then if Eric Powell drew him as well. Looking forward to more.

I was conscious of a little Eric Powell influence here. And Cary Nord's no slouch, either. Thanks, Doc.
