man...I guess this is the world's most boring deviation-title...EVER!Anyway, so here are some inked characters I'm going to do for different website-headers for different sections of an internet-forum (comics, manga, video games, movies)...

yeah, it IS Mega Man...and erm..yeah, I'm ashamed to tell you that that little critter IS my version of Pikachu... although I always said I'd never EVER draw Pokemon, I thought that for a VG-banner it could fit.... so you REALLY never should say never!

I have to say that I like Thor the best. It's so refreshing to see anime characters cartoonified, rather than the other way around. And God bless you for sticking with the old school Megaman; I hate how everyone forgets that this new suave Megaman Zero/DX guy started out as a cartoony little boy in blue who hadn't hit puberty. *dies off grumbling about Johnny-come-latelys*

I think I'm pretty old-school all the way; I mean if you invented something, why would you want to RAICALLY change it?? If you want to do things different, invent something NEW then, but don't touch the things that you established and that people out there care about!!
About the manga characters: it's the toughest thing I find to adapt manga-characters into another style, or you can't recognize them anymore or they look too much like the original...really not easy!

I know! Now they've got that Megaman DX monstrosity running around, who's nothing like the original Megaman in powers, appearance, or place in the universe. What is wrong with them? I want my little boy blue back! But then again, I want video games with 16 colors back too, and we all know when THAT will happen...
Yeah, it is hard, unless they're really distinctive. Unfortunately, the whole manga style just HATES to be forced into anything else, and without the big praying mantis eyes, people can't recognize them.

yeah...let's say, there ARE some influences, as for example Dragonball really shaped my style when I was a kid. But since then, I've been influenced by artists who were THEMSELVES more influenced by manga (MAD!, Ramos...etc), but I think that my style IS softer and cartoonier... but then again, most people in Luxemburg don't know THAT MUCH about comics in general, so I can't blame them...

Yeah, the big draw back for me is that I go from creative obsession to the next, and cycle through my hobbies, and come full circle.

Yeah it's good to be multi-talented but it never seems to fail, whenever I may be able to make some money with one of my creative endeavors, I end up switching creative gears, and go on to something else. I is good, but it also sucks. I sometimes envy folks that have one talent and are really good at it.

I SO agree with you..and the moment I REALIZE that and am really conscient of it, I manage to be REALLY happy in my life, even if sometmes it's only for a short span of time (but sometimes I think it's more than otherpeople feel in their WHOLE LIFE!)

That is fine. I would wait as long as it takes. Just to have someone take a crack at my characters is an honor. The fact that your a well established artist just puts it over the top. So I am happy no matter how long it takes.
