That's why even though most people talk down to him and lack faith in his abilities, he still keeps at it, pushing forward with the determination that one day he will achieve his dreams! If you can get him fired up enough about a project, he'll make sure to help you get it done!

Humorous: While his jokes are often too crass for some (usually along the lines of fart/potty humor or straight-up offensive wisecracks), he does take pride in the ability to brighten up someone's day with a laugh. Especially if someone seems too stressed or just feeling down. Laughter is the best medicine, after all!

Open-Minded: Despite the fact that his jokes might give off the opposite impression, he is in fact very open minded to other cultures, personalities or gender/sexual orientations. He takes great interest in the way every pokemon, city, etc. is different from the others, and is determined to explore the world so he can learn as much about everyone and everything as he can!

Relaxed/Apathetic: It's good to relax once in a while, and Nic can definitely convince stressed or overworked mons to take a load off. This can also be a negative trait though. While he gets extremely determined for his own goals, if something doesn't interest him, he won't try at all. This is especially prevalent in his school work, and he has a habit of either not turning in homework or cheating, then desperately trying to bump up his grades later with retakes or extra credit. Someone teach him to study dear gosh.

Competitive: His competitive streak has its benefits, allowing him the determination to overcome problems/his own laziness in order to best a peer, or to get others fired up for an otherwise boring task. This is also a negative trait, however, as his desperate need to impress others can lead to poorly thought out stunts or alienating friends because of his constant trash-talk.

Born to two garbodors, life was ok early on. Being the younger sibling, Nic got plenty of attention from both his parents and his (then still immature enough to be fun) older brother, Nettle. All that changed when Nic was 7, however, as the third member of the family was born. Now that his older brother was successfully enrolled in college (and far more responsible) and his parents were busy with his new brother Bubo, Nic was left feeling rather ignored. This is when his troublesome streak started. He had always been a tad rowdy, but not to the extent that he now aimed for. Even though these stunts did bring him much-desired (negative) attention, it never was all that fulfilling.

As he hit his teenage years he discovered rock music (the emo angst that spoke to his soul) and immediately knew that that was what he wanted to do in life (up until that point he'd never had any major interests or aspirations). Traveling the land, all the attention of adoring fans worldwide, venting all of his thoughts and feelings in a way pokemon could understand? What more could a young trubbish want? While his parents were very glad to see he'd found some kind of constructive hobby and payed for guitar lessons, they weren't all that supportive of it as a life goal. They often urged him to take up law or some other solid practice to keep as a backup, and while they certainly weren't implying that his dream was worthless, Nic was highly angered, taking it (wrongly) that they had no faith in him whatsoever. He left after a particularly irritating lecture with all the possessions he could carry, claiming he was going solo. Of course, his parents later found out he'd only taken up residence in an old treehouse in the forest near town, but they didn't push the matter incase he got more upset. Bubo (who was now in elementary school) later arrived to bring Nic some of the stuff he'd left behind, and they eventually took to hanging out more often. Nic actually got quite close to the little trubbish, and would play concerts for him or include him in his troublesome adventures (although Bubo was not nearly as good at causing mischief).

After several months of their son only showing up to eat and shower, his parents eventually proposed something. If he would go back to school (since he'd been skipping here for ages), they would enroll him in a school far away, so he could get his fill of traveling and perhaps gain some aspirations besides becoming a rockstar. Reluctantly he agreed, and after agreeing to call once in a while (only to talk to Bubo, he totally didn't care about those two losers), he took a plane to Goldenrod in Johto, and joined Harmonia Academy.

Poison Gas- A cloud of poison gas is sprayed in the face of opposing Pokemon. This may also poison those hit.

Swagger (TM)- The user enrages and confuses the target. However, this also sharply raises the target's Attack stat.

Double Team (TM)- By moving rapidly, the user makes illusory copies of itself to raise its evasiveness.

Sludge Bomb- Unsanitary sludge is hurled at the target. This may also poison the target.

★ Fun Facts ★

His name comes from the Bubonic Plague (Nic) and Oleander, an extremely toxic plant.

His hair is not actually hair, but is a collection of fibers from garbage he consumes (strings from corn, dust, lint, etc). Once it has formed a decent sized hairball inside of him, it is pushed out through pores of his skin in strands. Since it is garbage, it does not hold up for long, and he sheds and regrows once a month as a result of this. He dyes it new colours all the time. One month it might be black, the next time: rainbow! ((You can draw him with pretty much any hair colours you want ayyyyy))

He enjoys experimenting with lots of different body types, done by rearranging the trash currently digesting in his body to become more muscular, shorter, fatter, etc. Sometimes he even forms breasts (although even with those, he still identifies as a male, thank you)!

Very rarely he'll wear a skirt, but for the most part he prefers shorts or pants.

He can reinhale the poison gas he spews out and inflate himself as a way to endure/defend from attacks. Or just to act like a living whoopee cushion and disrupt class. That one never gets old. B)))

He may be the worst of assholes but he is in fact extremely open-minded when it comes to sexuality/gender orientation, so have no fear of telling him such things. He will be very supportive!

He is fine with teasing/flirting with guys, but he isn't sure if he'd actually want a relationship with one, be it romantic or sexual. So for the moment he still identifies as straight. That might change though.

He is excellent at knitting sweaters, and wears them frequently in the winter. He'd be more than happy to make you one, but you probably wouldn't like it. Every sweater contains something along the lines of SWAGLORD, FITE ME SCRUBNUGGET, or just an entire pattern of knitted dicks.

Constant memer.

He hates the dress code and wishes he could wear his fab sweaters instead. :c

His parents own a diner in Nimbasa, and Bubo has shown a bit of promise in the field of culinary talents.

Part of his interest for rock music was sparked from the Musical Theatre in town, where he was lucky enough to catch a few shows with pokemon wearing cool costumes (like Viking helmets and devil wings).

His older brother has become a bit too smug and responsible for Nic's liking, so their previously close childhood relationship has collapsed.

Bubo loves Nic's sweaters, and has several with pictures of food that Nic made just for him.
