i realize i gave like no info whatsoever sorry fjdslkgh

uhh basically its like....branching off another au where dan comes back for revenge, gets captured by the fentons, and then gets a redemption arc and a human disguise while he lives there and chills

but in split core hes being exceptionally dickish so clockwork decides to have his core split into three to teach him a lesson about balance or some shit (going off the hc that dan's core is both danny's and vlad's mixed, but i added an extra ""dark core"" in between them for drama i guess) and so the three cores (red, green, and dark) have to find a way to get cw to merge them back together again

the problem is that not only are red and green at each other's throats all the time b/c now theyre concentrated into being more danny- and vlad-like, but also dark core is just this vicious monster of a ghost with zero personality except "murder" so he cant rly be reasoned with

so red and green have to learn to get along and "balance each other out" and work together to defeat dark core when he accidentally gets set free from his restraints 👍

then once dan is whole again he has a huge migraine for a while but then hes a chill guy

it was originally supposed to be the plot of doppelganger actually but i decided against it

i still hold the plot close to me heart

i get that...at any rate, maybe as the next story, depending on what happens with doppleganger. still love the post with Future Vlad responding to all the requests for doppleganger!!!
