Well, if you read the last story, he almost killed Tyson.
Old Grudges Don't DieDespite all of the words and claims that Tyson is innocent to everybody, Kite still hunts for the Pokemon that murdered his mother. Around this time, Kite made a private call with Tyson to meet up at a location that the two know. A lonely rock in the middle of a lava ocean. Hearing about this, all of Kite's friends have tried to stop him from getting close to Tyson, using tricks to lure him away, such as Dust disguising himself as a bad future alter ego of Kite. Unfortunately, they all failed, as Kite's raging strength overwhelmed them. After some time, Kite meets Tyson at the location, as he's prepared to finish this rivalry once and for all.
Kite: Tyson!
Tyson: *turns around* Oh no...
Tyson turns to see the Pokemon he dredges of seeing.
Kite: Sorry to keep you waiting.
Tyson: So, after literally everybody that tried to stop you. You still came for me?
Kite: Yes, I have. I had to go through all of my friends, enemies, your men, and even your daughter to reach
