Description
Juno (jetpack mode) from Jet Force Gemini for the Project! With a shuriken, because they were most bestest.β¦Confession time: I never beat JFG. I couldn't hold the strafe/lock button down long enough to take out Mizar. Even tried taping it down. XD

I understand this was made an eternity ago, but holy shit. I knew Juno's jetpack uniform in-game looked badass, but this makes it look multiple times better.

Ha ha, thanks! That's what I was hoping for!
I drew up my own version of his regular uniform, then squinted at the approximately two screenshots of the jetpack outfit and tried to figure out and add what was different, then added my own touches ('cause really, who could tell anyway? XD)! And textures and glows and such, because those are cool.

This is fantastic; as always, Jet Force Gemini could always use more love. Also I haven't seen much artwork of jet pack mode, which makes this that much more unique.

I know, eh?! There isn't even official art of the jetpack! I decided to make most of it up as I went along, as there are very few JFG screenshots floating around the net, and I was kinda sorta too lazy to hook up my N64β¦ ^-^;
So glad you like it!

This is so awesome. Love the composition, the backlighting, and textures. One of the coolest JFG fanarts out there!

Thank you so much! It was one of those ever-changing things: kept tweaking until this is what I got. Glad you think it worked out!

Come and join us
The Game-Art-HQ Project!
The idea would be that one artist can call dibs on one character or game per month and creates a fan art.
There will be different themes like "Boss Characters, Platformer Games, Pokemon, 8 Bit Era, Comic Characters in Video Games" etc.
The artworks would get an own gallery here on dA and also get a feature article on Game-Art-HQ.com
Every character or game can be claimed by only one artist except there are multiple forms or looks /versions of a character.
If you claim a game, the gameplay of it or a part of the story should be shown in the image
Lets start this project right now with NINTENDO Β
All games developed or published by Nintendo are allowed, all characters from them as well, be it Mario, Princess Zelda, etc.
The deadline would be the 30th November
If you can't make it till that time, no worries, this is meant to be a fun project to challenge yourself, to motivate you to draw rarely drawn game characters and Β which might grow and grow..its not like one of
...Happy Halloween.
