This 1930 Duesenberg J-143 Roadster Convertible Coupe was originally owned by mobster John "Jake the Barber" Factor (the half brother of cosmetics king Max Factor). He was an associate of Al Capone and is infamous for his 1926 UK stock swindle. Some of the victims even included the Royal Family. His take from the swindle was $8 million, which in today's dollars would be over $10 billion. In latter years he operated the Stardust Casino in Las Vegas as a front for the Chicago mob. He was one of the largest contributors to JFK's 1960 presidential campaign and was later given a presidential pardon by Kennedy.
