(Argh, before I say anything, let me just say the scanner completely violated this one T_T especially the skin tones. And the highlights on the tail. And the green bit of the bridge. *glares*)

Anywho, this was something I sketched up while I was in wales. I was gonna just use it for color practice, but you know those times when it comes out way better than you thought it would? Yah, it happened. x]

I'm ever so pleased with it, even if the scan of it kinda dulled that a little. I actually felt comfortable with colored pencils, and thats only happened once before, and I think it shows. Lighting and shadow is starting to make marginally more sense to me aswell.

I had no idea it would turn out this... chilling? XD Still, I've always preferred the scarier, original Grimm fairytales over the kiddy-friendly, happy ending disney versions, they're way more interesting ^_^ (Not that I don't love the disneys, cuz I do!) Seriously though, this is as creepy as my art will get. I'm a wimp, really.
