woo, two deviations in two dayys - see, this is why school holidays are good for you, children.

not that this is actually a deviation, just practice. i felt like my values needed a little help, so... i painted the values from the color picture, then when i'd finished, i changed the ref to grayscale to see how close to the actual values i was.

some of the face is off, but i was concentrating on values more than anything.

edit: moved to scraps.
