This is so delicate! For me, it looks like a depiction of space expansion in a Multiverse Big-Bang.

This is a beautiful fractal. Β I really like the way the parameters resulted in a solid feature on some petals and a "ghost feature" in between others. Very nice work.

I really love fractal artwork...it's one of these art forms that I'll never be able to make, only appreciate from a distance.
This is one of the more gorgeous pieces I've seen.Β I think the concept is fabulous, and extremely well executed.Β The colours work so well together--the contrasts of iridescent blues, oranges and golds against the black background make it so beautifully dramatic, but also somehow soothing.Β The smooth glass-like curves and reflections and the flower-like design are a joy to behold.Β I want to slide down into the middle and stay there
The only nitpick I have is that it feels like the bottom of the image is somehow cut off.Β Otherwise, I think this fractal is pretty close to perfection Stunning work!

Thanks for the compliment. I did deliberately chose the "cut" look to focus on the middle and give a bit more dynamic feeling to it. Like in japanese art (Hokusai wood cuts).

Hm. I can understand that you chose a "cut" look deliberately but not sure this was Hokusai's style.Β Are you thinking of one of his prints (or a series of prints) in particular?Β Just curious

Oh yes it was, especially in his wave and landscape works. But even some of his Erotica (Courtesans) and still lives have a cut look. And often a deliberate off-center composition to enhance depth.
