Yeah yeah I'm not supposed to be drawing any more fanart when I still have owed art but this is an emergency! KB IS GONNA GET CANCELED! TT,TT And it has great ratings so the news came as a huge shock! The voice actor himself came to us for help! Many of our fans have close ties to the creators/animators/voice actors of the show so they got our back in this too! This show means alot to me and tons of fans and artists! IT WOULD SERIOUSLY BREAKS SOME HEARTS TO LOSE THIS SHOW SO SOON! SO I'm sorry but I'll be puttin up some more fanart!!(So this came out of nowhere so I made it part one of the many OM art to come. I just ended up making it like they are defending Mellowbrook from flyin words that say 'canceled'. Then it just looked better with one of the words. Blablabla I overused the blender again. And weird proportions. And Sam's going to bed now! Looked better in RIFF...)
Please help save this show! Even if you don't watch it it'd be a shame to lose one of Disney's few animated shows! You can help by simply signing this petition which by the way has only been up less than a week and already has 792 signatures! [link]

So you've observed that the problem is a lack of merchandise - Which is odd, because the show should lend itself greatly to that sort of thing. And I seem to remember that it took a good while before they really began churning out Phineas & Ferb toys as well.
I don't understand how these companies are thinking. Cartoon Network recently cancelled a show called Sym-Bionic Titan after one season because apparently it couldn't be used to sell toys. And that was a show about giant fighting robots and super-powered aliens!. The toy potential should be endless, judging by the few episode I saw.

We have the same observation friend. *nods gravely* I definitely remember Sym-Bionic Titan (I seriously was a mega fan for it) because I was absolutely devastated when it was cancelled and then in a rage when I found out it was just because of merch which didn't make a lick of sense when yeah. ROBOTS. ALIENS. What is the deal with merch people??? And yeah Disney stores only sell limited merch on shows yet sell movies stuff?? Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy

The cheaper cable company that my aunt signed up with now doesn't show the american disney only the latin american one with episodes of shows in english and original latin american disney shows in spanish. Maybe I'll look for it on the weekend. I hope your show doesn't get cancelled, it seems to make you very happy. I agree. Disney is so sad in that they always cancel or finish great cartoons easily. I don't think American Dragon was on that long (but then again I missed out a huge chunk of episodes and maybe it did finish properly?) And I used to love the buzz on maggie.
It's like the channel is only in it for the money. I mean how often are new cartoons shown there??

Yeah it does make me happy~ I rarely have a show I get so into! I'm a very loyal person and I focus on like one thing at a time! XDDDD
Oh boy do I agree! There have been so many good, quality cartoons that have just up and vanished! The worst part is about this particular show is that it's ratings are quite good! But...they haven't made any merchandise and apparently that's the hold up. MAKE THE DANG AWESOME TOYS ALREADY! SHEESSSHH!
But yeah I really wish all these good shows wouldn't be in danger like this! If you ask me...Disney might just be rolling in his grave the poor man! He was a creator of the animated! He was known for his unheard of at the time stroke of genius by making his cartoons into merchandise! Most importantly he focused on family values and great plots. It's kinda sad and ironic that long after his golden reign....the shows you see now are majority live action. They center around being famous. The characters and plots are already cliche at this point. And the musical aspect has just about done me in. :C I enjoy new and unique characters. That's why I watch the animated shows! Fish hooks, Phineas and Ferb, Kick Buttowski, and Kid vs. Kat are all very good and very unique~ AND ANIMATED. Hmm.
I very much agree with you. I mean. That's just it. The money is what's important now. They're an enormous enterprise but...it's sad they have kinda lost sight in some aspects. Not everything is bad though and I'm not hating don't get me wrong. I'm mostly just bitter that I lost some of my favorite shows in the past...all the while Hannah Montana got like 10 years of power all over that channel... And merch shouldn't be too difficult with KBSD I mean. SKATEBOARDS. Racing tracks! Plushies! At least stickers! I'll draw a graphic novel version if that could help! There are tons of opportunites. But it seems kinda...like...no one is trying too hard. A VIDEO GAME WOULD BE PERFECTION.
