Brexit means the UK are about to leave the European market. We will no longer be part of the European Union. There was a referendum earlier this year and 52% of people voted to leave (48% voted to remain). It was very, very close and seems to have divided the country. I voted to remain in Europe, but a slim minority have voted to leave. Since the referendum there has been an increase in hate crime - attacks on minorities and foreigners. It's been horrible, Lucy. It's as though the country has suddenly become very racist and xenophobic. It's very similar to what's happening in the States under Trump.

there wasn't any racist in your country of if there wasΒ
it wasn't as bad as it is now. What is happening over here
with this jackass ( excuse my language) I believe, is first
of all that racism has always been there, this moron is
just escalated that much more with all his hate speeches
before this useless idiot got elected. So it just shows that
hate will always win over good anytime. I have spoke toΒ
