I love creating cliffhangers. I used to love them in old TV programmes such as Dr Who and those children's series they used to show on a Saturday morning. The chapters of 'The Haunted Snow Globe' were printed two weeks apart in the newspaper in Japan, so the editor insisted that there should be a hook at the end of every one.

Whatever happened to the the childrens series on Saturdays...They would be so much better than the things they put on now!!
The editor certainly knew what he was wanted!!!

I'm not even sure what they show on Saturday mornings now. But yes, some of those old children's series were great.

Something called "Milkshake"Looks okay...but I love our older ones!!....Other than that at the moment it's films on most channels!!

I don't know 'Milkshake' but I remember watching repeats of children's series from the 50s and 60s when I was growing up in the late 70s. All sorts of things - Lassie, White Horses, Zorro, Buck Rodgers, you name it, I watched it.

It has alot of different characters...It's a bit like Camberwick green,,,,,but give me the old ones  anyday!!!The whistling Clangers make children laugh too!!!Can't remember when they came out"!"

Haven't they brought the Clangers back? I've heard they've made an excellent remake. I used to love the Clangers when I was a kid. I think the original series was made in 1969.

Yes, there's a new series. Michael Palin provides the voice. It's very faithful to the original series.
