Yes, it is. It's aimed at people learning English in Japan. The readers are at an intermediate level. They range from 8 year olds to 70 year olds! I wrote and illustrated a similar story last year called 'The Haunted Snow globe'.

Thank you for reading it. I agree, it's way too short and simplified for native English speakers. It would probably suit a child with dyslexia or learning difficulties. However, I do have plans to adapt the story into something more sophisticated.

Oh yes, it's perfect for what it is intended for. You absolutely should continue with the story. I really enjoyed it. It does not matter how old or what level one is at because I think that most of us still enjoy that magic we used to read and swear by

The great news is the editor has asked me to write and illustrate another story. I've nearly reached the end. I have to wait for it to be published in Japan, and then I will post the chapters and the illustrations on here.
