There's no stopping them, I'm afraid. Thankfully, as cats get older, they begin to lose some of their hunting instincts. My two older cats (now 13 years old) haven't caught anything for several years. Β

I know what you mean my cat was a real mouse catcher and I was always finding dead mice somewhere yuk I actually stepped on one I remember one day and nearly caught a heart attack as I did not know that it was dead already

Caspar, my young black cat, once brought a rat into my flat. It was one of the largest rats I had ever seen and it was still alive. It was running up and down the stairs, trying to escape. I had to open the front door to let it out. Caspar looked very disappointed.Β

The sixth chapter has just been published in Japan, and I'm receiving feedback from Japanese readers. They seem to be really enjoying the story, and keep trying to guess what's going to happen.
