Fen can be perceived as being somewhat aloof by people that don’t know him but that is, in part, due to the communication barrier. Once communication is worked out though, he is actually quite sociable with a mellow edge. He easily becomes irritable or frustrated in some situations but he tries moderate his reactions in front of strangers.
