If i may, i think i know whats troubling you with this. the actions and expressions of the characters dont match the intensity of the scene. in the first panel watermelon tourmaline is shouting go! but shes waving it off like "ohh dont worry i'll clean up here, you go have fun with your friends" and especially in the second panel with spinel just standing there, almost disconnected to whats actually happening giving no weight to her responding "no"
I think you need to work on exaggerating these emotions a little bit better, and keep in mind that framing can contribute to the emotions.
