sometimes i find that the quickest exercises can be the most honest for artists.. you have to choose just the right lines to mark to capture the whole and guide the mind's eye to fill in the rest. Its also honest because you cant make something look the way you want it to look verses the way you first perceive something. I believe you did that wonderfully here.

alas, i think i'm running out of ways to tell you how good i think you are. you do witha few lines what it takes some people days and weeks to accomplish in a painting. beautiful, simple and very much your own little niche. you do this stuff better than anyone.
