Coming into life with an already relatively large family, you'd expect attention issues to rampant and heavy, but not for this guy! Belial loves each and every single member of family and knows that most of them love him too. There might be an odd ball or two here and there but that's okay, family is still family and thats what matters to Belial. His family, both blood and those he considers to be, are to be put above everyone else no matter the circumstances, at least interms of physical safety. He's not stupid, he won't let his family control his actions just because he cares about them.

Belial is apart of a brilliant family, most of them geniuses in one way or another or of high enough rank to know what they're doing. He's like that too, he's good at arranging different cats to their strengths and where they'd need be stationed the best but... Well, he's not stupid but he's certainly not the smartest. Despite his family, he has a bit of a hard time connecting certain dots when it comes to lessons or even just every day knowledge. After a while and some work arounds, he'll usually pick up whatever it is trying to be taught to him but he still struggles quite a bit.

Despite how loud and rowdy Belial can sometimes be, he's nothing if not respectful to those around him, offering help when ever he can to those that need it. He clears paths for others, or jumps in to defend someone who's helpless, consider him the everyday hero type who doesn't really like attention. It's part of his job description to be kind and protect those that need protecting, sure, but it's also something he's always done since he was a kid too. He intends to defend and keep all that he can safe as well as providing them with as much kindness as he can!

Being a bit slow on the uptake, Belial's inability to connect some of the dots in his head usually leads to him being a bit of a rockhead. This leads to him not really understanding what others are putting down or blurting out things that he thinks are good intentioned but can be seen as insults. He doesn't mean to a good percent of the time, he just didn't connect the dots yet, and will profusely apologize anytime he's said something less than nice to those he's in the company of. Belials doing his best with the braincells he has, he's more built for fighting than thinking anyways.

Background

Belial was born April 20th 42 BCE to Pacino and Alexei with his siblings, Eligos, Leviathan, Samael and Liln on the night of a raid. Their birth had been long anticipated by the newly mated couple and by the name Belial's father had returned, they new small family was rejoicing. Belial was soon further introduced to the rest of his rather extensive family, living days and nights happily as they all prepared to become Hunter Apprentices, at the time. He watched as his siblings rocketed forward in their progress, proud as most of them were fully graduated before they were even two years old. Belial, though, lagged behind said siblings, taking his pace as his Father suggested to do, there was no reason to rush when they were so young. He met a few cats along his way, none more important than Qasim, who he would befriend and grow closer to as time passed. That was at least until a certain red snow lion infiltrated their ranks. Belial had never been close to the snowy cross, that had always been his somewhat estranged cousin, Inky. But he had never found anything wrong with the other young hunters.

Until Ragnarok happened. Belial remembered the fire and the panic spreading among the crowds as he rushed to evacuate whoever he could. He remembered frantically searching for his family as cats stormed in and out of the gates, building lighting on fire and fights starting in the streets, blood spilling on the rocks and dirt of Massilia's once great grounds. By the time everything was over, the news hadn't spread yet, and many of Belial's family was missing from the recovered cats outside of Massilia's walls. Panic set in, thinking his father and siblings could be dead somewhere in the city, crushed under rubble or consumed by the fires themselves. It turned out, he was only half right to be worried. Most of his family were okay, aside from the obvious injuries but there were some missing and some dead. Mihail was among these casualties, mourned by many of his family and extended family.

However, with new changes being implemented and the city no longer being safe, many of the rich population of humans began to move. The Arkadios House's humans were among them, with the wife moving first accompanied by an entourage of cats. Belial followed dutifully, Qasim accompaining him and anyone else who made the journey to their new home in a new city. They settled for a time, Belial acting as a guard cat as any others were shipped over to their new home. He was satisfied for a time, to just live as a guard cat on the new estate waiting for the rest of his family to join them here. It didn't itch at the back of brain whenever news came that there was a delay in someone joining them, or news of something going awry in Massilia. It wasn't often, the cats still couldn't quite understand what their masters were talking about, but something finally got too much to bear in Belial's head. He had to go back, had to go home to his birthplace, to help out there and keep those that needed it safe. Eventually, he was requested back by the Arkadios Master and his brother, wishing for one more experienced cat to help guard the place while it was under construction. Belial would rejoin the Hunter Program, now named Wardens with two different task forces, as a Sentinel to protect his home and the city.

Belial couldn't be happier to be back.
