you can use photoshop brushes in gimp. The newest version of GIMP at least can use abr files(unless my computer is weird and it's just me). Ask the brush maker if they're ok with it though.

i don't draw on gimp, i use a program called Drawplus Serif.

I have Photoshop CS4 and the brushes work fine for me, so you should be able to use them with CS2.

Some of them were from comicworks, some of them from Manga studio, some of them from Google images and some were contribution brushes. I didn't check where the contribs came from cause I assumed she made it off of this catalog she linked me [link] , but I'll remove the ones that match with yours.

o.o how do i convert the file type? A lot of your other ones are .zip files so winzip works, but I don't know what to do with .abr files.

.abr is just file type which all PhotoShop brushes are .abr type.

Once you download them, You can open PhotoShop, then Click on your brush icon select 'Load Brushes', then select your brushset from whever you saved it to...like your Desktop for Example. ^_^
