Poor guy. Must have been one of the worst time of his life.
Incidentally, the sky and the surrounding area weren't cheerful, which might have helped to put on that foul mood on him. Right now it's looking very much like it where I am- almost going to rain.
On the other hand, the grass and the fur are wonderfully done, and his sorrowful expression does make one sad!
