Hello! i love this... and when you paint, what size of a canvas do you use? (can be a canvas or not)

I don't paint on canvas, I use Arches Hot Press watercolor paper (it's much smoother and stands up to a lot of abuse, as it's actually made from cotton). This piece is about letter-sized (so 8.5x11 inches). :]

I like your colors!
I have been recently studying perspective and how to paint landscapes and scenery. Your background really bothers me because of it's horizon. I think the ground should be more visible up to about the character's knees. On the right it looks correct because of that hill, but on the left it feels like it's the edge of the earth! I can see how that got overlooked, because you did put a lot of work into detailing the character, which is the focus, however. So keep it up.
