Awww You've gone on an uploading binge since the last time I checked your page XD These are so nice!
The little button eyes seriously sell the cuteness for these guys haha. And I love the simplified body shapes
I hope there's more like this to come!

I did! And thank you! I did a more detailed cat recently (I don't know why I keep making long-shaped animals, the details all get lost when they're shrunk down to preview image sizes on these POD sites). But I'm definitely going to be making more of these guys in the future. I love the simplicity!

I once had a corgi with this exact coloring and attitude, and it made me so sentimental and happy to see this. What a cutie! It was a lovely reminder of my once-best friend.
I love his big ear and the little wiggle lines. It just makes him look so darn happy

Really? Aww. We had bishon frises and cockapoos (cocker spaniel - poddle) mixes while I was growing up. When I was very young, my parents had a dachshund, and before that they had a St. Bernard (very different than all those small dogs! ). Despite that, Corgis have always been one of my favourites. I definitely classify as a dog lover (I'll take them over cats any day).
I'm glad I could remind you of your special little pup!

I am so torn between dogs and cats. Cats are such troublemakers, but I've had some that made me realize why they may have been worshiped in places like Egypt . But I will agree with corgis are so cute. They just have these big floppy ears, stubby legs, and wiggling butts. It always made my day to see! I used to have two of them when I was very young. It was an overload of cuteness.
I am glad, too!

Don't get me wrong - I do adore cats. I love all animals, but dogs will always be a soft spot for me. They were a constant while I was growing up. I always think of cats as these graceful creatures, and then I see them in real life as they try to sit in boxes or holes too small for them, or crawl over one another's heads to get at their food. They're utterly, perfectly ridiculous.
my aunt used to have cats when I was much younger. They were mostly outside cats, but one of her grey calicos(?) got pregnant and gave birth do a white long-haired tomcat (I think she must have visited a housecat at some point). He was the kindest, laziest cat I've ever met. He'd run up to you to get pets as soon as the car stopped. He also loved having his picture taken. There were multiple times when he'd run up, pose, and then casually saunter away as soon as pictures were done.
I'm glad I helped bring back some good memories! Thank you for doing the same!

Thank you, Sarah! I have a few more of pups in this style to post up. I'll probably return to it in the future, as well. I really enjoyed creating these simple sorts of works.

Why, thank you!
I remember a time when I couldn't create a cartoon to save my life. I have some old commissions in my account where I created a series of cartoon paintings (some huge that involved monkeys and toothbrushes, and toothpaste, etc...) - thank goodness the people who commissioned me were patient. The first sketch of monkeys I sent them got a, "It's great! But... they're kind of scary, you know?"
After those paintings, I never really stopped fiddling around with cute cartoons. I'm really thankful because of it.

I've just been to look at your scary monkeys
I don't think they are that scary but Disney knew what he was doing when he gave the cute cartoon characters huge pupils in their eyes.
A dilated pupil means friendliness and love.
All the bad characters have very small pupils, sometimes just little dots.
I love your cuties

Yes, well, you're seeing the refined versions! You should have seen the first sketches I made for them! The kids would have gotten nightmares.
I could have used that advice back then! That's very true. I don't know if I've actively noticed that before. Hmmm, I'm going to go look at pictures of Disney villains, now.
Thank you again, Lawrence!
