Because if he had become a dragon rider the series would end very fast because richer (I think I've spelt his name wrong) wouldn't stand a chance. . . I am sad I didn't get to see him mingle with the group more :\ (over all- I feel ya! But I hope he's still alive and just has amnesia and becomes basically 'the loan rider' and he and shattermaster take out hunters and save dragons like no ones business!!)

Me too! I hope so. If not there might be an uprising of Dagur fans. I actually drew this half way through the episode and was going to have Fishlegs asking hiccup how he could let Dagur disgrace the name of the gronkle but then I watched a little further. And then he died

Yes, memorable is right. But still doesnt beat the dramatic death of "bro" (it's not his name I just cant recall it right now) from Gurren Lagann. Or soran from fusi yugi genbu kiden .. But they actually died (like, no chance of living) I'm still clinging that dagur might be alive
