heh I can't remember the first japanese thing i saw with weird hair colors but it was probably sailormoon, and that was AFTER i'd been watching the simpsons for years so I think it never fazed me.

I dunno how old I was when I played the SNES version (I think 8 or 9), but I SO REMEMBER thinking that! Glad to see I'm not the only one!
OOH. I love the bold coloring and the details to her cape (though I think the eyes stand out the most), by the way! =] Very pretty.
