The cement ran down the faerie's head burying all but her freed arm. Mercifully the deluge of wet cement behind her came to a stop. Maybe her prayers had been answered! She could dig her way out from under this mound of grit, find some place to wash off and get home. A loud squelch cut off her line of thinking as the sludge around her shifted. Something hand landed in the cement behind her. Before she could even begin to imagine what it could be the mound behind her shifted forward, sending the muck cascading down, pressing the faerie down into the mire's depths, burying her in an instant.
