This one was a hell'uv'a lot of fun, purely cause Ultramare is a character I've adored for ages, and it's been a character I've wanted to draw for just as long!
Started as a shitty sketch in my notebook I doodled during Galacon.
It was a basic idea, a mare lounging. But over time it manifested as something different. The premise is simple. Ultramare is making use of a day off, doing whatever she was doing out of the city. When on her way loud bangs could be heard from the city and near by. These were, unbeknown to her, fireworks! Startled and in a state of alert, grew to massive size! But in the adrenaline rush (and lack of identifying a foe who wasn't really there) clouded her mind and she may have forgotten to stop her growth! That was until some fireworks began ricocheting off her rump. Upon realisation, she was understandably none to pleased. And her leering colossal gaze towards the city portrays as much.

Either way, hope you guys like it! Worked quite hard on this over the past few days.

EDIT: Noticed that in my haste and excitement for how nicely the cel shading turned out, I frogot to put some finishing touches on the image. Added now.
