Explanations;
[Please don't correct my definitions. I know some of these words mean the same thing but there aren't any names for the different groups of bad guys so I used words that I thought suited the type.]

Minion: Lowest, easiest and most often the smallest enemies in games. (*I suggest chibis for this one)
Examples- Goomba, Chu chu, Waddledee.

Cronie: Second lowest of the enemies. Usually bigger and thug-like.
Examples- Hammer bro, Moblin, Bonkers, Knuckles.

Rival: Not a mastermind but equal to the protagonist. Never completely evil and will sometimes switch to the good side.
Examples- Blue (Gary oak), Whisper, Groose.

Miniboss: smaller and usually weaker than the main boss in the area or level.
Examples- Big daddy, Crocomire, Any character you fight half way through a dungeon in Zelda to get an item.

Villain: almost never a big muscly character and will send his/her henchmen to fight rather then fighting for themselves.
Examples- The joker, Dr.Eggman, Kefka.

Final Boss: The boss at the very end of the game.
Examples- Bowser, Cortex, Gruntilda, Glad0s.
