i like to imagine whenever they talk to each other, the other one repeats their words in reverse

like in this picture, Light ask how Shadow is doing and Shadow repeated her(?) question in reverse, then Shadow replies to Light's question and Light repeated its answer in reverse

there is a delay whenever they talk, to each other or to a person, or else it will be an echoing mess pff-

again, just imagination
