Some time within the past few weeks I think I've forgotten how to draw, and all my motivation with it.Anyway here's a badly thrown-together patchwork picture of enAntarctique. None of the changes here are permanent, I just felt like drawing him differently -- I guess it doesn't really matter what he looks like.
..I haven't drawn a somewhat-finished picture of my own characters in ages.

The piece overall is quite different from your usual style; it's really neat! I love the sky and enAntarctique's wing, how it's almost melting into the background. Also, the transition from very warm to very cool colors is greatly appealing to the eye! Wonderful work. :3

I dunno, it just seems kinda.. uninteresting and flat. It was worse when it was square, then I expanded the canvas vertically and I think that helped a bit, but I'm not sure.
I'm glad it looks a bit different! I guess I was aiming for a bit of a change (moreso the background, I guess), so that's pretty sweet that you noticed.

As a general rule, I think square canvases tend to be boring. xD Though I am guilty of some. >_>

This is some odd theme! More on the abstract side, making this picture really unique. The colouring is awesome too! It has some classic look to it, doesn't it?

Well, there is this very well known painting, in my old Philosophy school book, and the painting style has some resemblances, although that painting was an oil painting. So perhaps this being a digital one, was aiming for a bit of 'spirit' from the classic paintings
