Oh my gosh this is perfect! I bet Mrs. Hudson keeps a scrapbook and she wanted a picture of the two of them. So she lined them up against the wall but they had a small domestic before the picture so Sherlock probably, either stuck a 'Kick-Me' sign behind John's back. Or while Mrs. Hudson was setting up the camera Sherlock kept nudging John with his elbow and thus this shot. This is just brilliant!
