Description
Owen Hart, The British Bulldog, Mr. Perfect, Big BossMan, Earthquake, Bam Bam Bigallow, Sensational Sherrie, Eddie Guerrero, these are some of the wrestlers which I grew up seeing them wrestle, and now Chris Benoit is part of them. The first time I saw Chris he was part of the Four Horsemen in the WCW and even there he was impressive and dominating.
Years later I find him again in the WWE, during that time he truly gain my respect and admiration.
He’s different from all the other wrestlers, he fought with total pride and appreciation that deserves everyone’s respect. He fought with all his heart and soul, we can all see that in his fights. I was amazed when he won the royal Rumble back in 2004, even when he was the first one to enter, and I was truly happy for him when he won the World title in Wrestlemania 20, it was the best triple threat match I ever saw and you could see the emotion on Benoit’s face when he won and Eddie Guerrero came up to the ring to congratulate his old friend, that wrestlemania moment was truly unique.
I saw in DVD the fight he had with Bret Hart in memory of the late great Owen Hart, it was the most emotional fight I ever saw in my life and both men gave their best for Owen.
Last year Smackdown came to Portugal and every was excited to see him live, every one cheered and applauded him because we Portuguese respected him a lot, he’s one of the best wrestlers who we look up to, the man who has a heart of a champion.
My sympathy and prays goes to him and to his wife and son who also died.
You were the best Chris…..
We’ll miss you……
Portugal already misses you……

Glad to see some people here as well have a good head on their shoulders and don't call him a monster for what happened.
It wasn't his fault and it never will be.

Everyone has the right to their opinions about Chris Benoit.
As a whole, I think the situation is tragic and messed up on all levels.
-What was the final straw that pushed Benoit to this decision?
-Death of his Family is a no brainer.
-The Legacy that He has now left behind for himself.
I for one do not condone what he has done, but I will not forget what he's done in wrestling for the last 20 years. He contributed so much to wrestling and to me that's something I will not ignore.
As far as WWE and their issues with Benoit? They need to look at themselves a little more. They had a murderer (a criminal, if you will) on their talent roster. Lets look at known criminals currently on the Roster
Randy Orton: Sexual Harassment, Vandalism
Rob Van Dam: Drug Possession
Sabu: Drug Possession
MVP: Armed Robbery and Kid Napping!!!!
In MVP's case he served for his crime. while the oters mentioned had NO true consequences to pay. Don't be so quick to Nail Benoit for his actions when there are known criminals still at large on the roster. Granted they didn't kill nobody, but they broke the LAW none the less.

His autopsy revealed that his brain was like one of an 85 year old Alzheimer's patient. His brain was severely damaged as a result of numerous concussions that he suffered.

I think Bret Hart said it best "Wrestlers tend to mis-Diagnose themselves thinking they just get a good nights sleep and they'll be okay in the morning." Unfortunately for Bret, he didn't have a good night's sleep for quite a while.

The main thing that saddens me about this is that WWE want nothin to do with Benoit now which means we won't see him in the hall of fame now.

I was surprised my step-father was sympathetic over the death of the Benoit family, a man who cannot even stand me watching wrestling. Wrestling is a big deal to most Hispanics, and Chris Benoit was among, if not the, greatest. He didn't take shit from anyone. He will be missed.

I admire Chris Benoit for his in-ring abilities, his resiliency, and his passion for the game. It's just sad to know his life ended like this. One way or another, I'll definitely miss him as being one of the greatest sports entertainers in wrestling.
R.I.P. Chris Benoit

most of the people today are condiming Chris due to the circumstances surrounding his death. i feel as a fan of his work i shouldn't because i believe there are other factors to this such as phycological and emotional. true the death has effected us all in the wrestling fan community. some of us deeper then more. we should use his death as an reminder to love one another. this proves that we are all connected in this world one death causes a ripple as does one birth. so hug someone you love tell someone you love them don't take anything for granted. and for you chris i hope you found peace and that god loves you still, we should not focus on how he died but by how he lived.
thank you and have a nice day

Usually you should you know... take your own photos or use non-copyrighted stock photos.
Also on a side note
"Professional wrestler Chris Benoit strangled his wife and smothered his 7-year-old son, placing bibles at their sides, before hanging himself from a pulley in his weight room, authorities said Tuesday."

Taken from their front page... "World Wrestling Entertainment is stunned and saddened by the details released by local authorities concerning the double homicide-suicide involving Chris Benoit, his wife, Nancy, and his son, Daniel."
Then they go on about how Steroids didn't cause him to do this. Nothing about him not actually doing it.

"The station said that investigators believe the 40-year-old Benoit killed his wife, Nancy, and 7-year-old son, Daniel, over the weekend, then himself on Monday. A neighbor called police, and the bodies were found in three rooms."
I'm not sure if I'd be mourning a person who's suspected to have killed his wife and son. But hey that's just me.

Alright, I'll just comment and critique your work on it then as you set it to that and obviously you want a bit of constructive criticism.
For starters all you really did was add an opaque image over another and added text, not even grammatically good text and in all honesty the using “4” instead of “for” then the 4 exclamation points are all a bit much and just lowers and sort of intelligence this could have had even farther.
Farther more you don’t own the picture it’s not your photo so I don’t know why you put it under “ Photography ” you pretty much just stole a couple photos and slapped some text on it.
There’s not a lot of talent going on here I mean any kid with MS Paint can do this same thing and possibly in better font choices too.
I think if you work on actually doing some work other than just plastering text on everything you could become good.

I don't think the idea of this picture was to show talent and techniques etc. It was a tribute to a wrestler.
~scrik is not the only person to have done this. Many people in tributes use other photos. Who cares about talent when someone is making a tribute to someone who inspired them throughout their career and provided entertainment worldwide in wrestling.
And yes, Benoit did allegedly kill himself and his family. It's a sad thing. No one should be inspired by that. But fans aren't being inspired by what he did over that 24hour period, they're inspired by his career beforehand and all the years they'd watched his wrestling.
His son suffered Fragile X syndrome apparently, and that with his career would have been stressful. He probably suffered mentally. And he had a history of violence. So he could have been irrational in his thinking and been going through a really hard time in his life.
I'm not standing up for Benoit. What he did was wrong, and definitely not the right way to go whatever problems he was having.
But let a fan show their respect for a dead hero. Techniques aren't everything. This site isn't just to show techniques. It also shows self expression.
And well done for being 'right' about him killing himself and his family. Who cares? It's about remembering him. When someone dies you don't just go on and on about how they were an idiot and did this wrong and stuff, you remember the good parts.
If you don't care about wrestling, then don't go looking at wrestling pictures, especially the tribute ones.
If you care about photography, fantastic. Don't judge someone by one picture in their gallery. He's done other work and it isn't all photography. So obviously he isn't going to go look at a dead body in an autopsy room to get a proper picture. if he didn't have one already.
It's always sad when someone dies. Let people mourn and show tributes.
Just what my thought were on it.

I wasn't judging him I was judging the piece. It's really just a stolen picture with text over it. If he didn't want comments he could have set it to "Critiques Discouraged" or disable comments on it.
