~Ampulex Compressa~

Misplaced and walking among the strange on a troubled Earth,
Come here little demon,
Witched by the flames of a humble prince,
Want to taste his blood,

Can't resist the offering who eager presents himself,
Hands granting all permissions,
Having everything and not much to do,
Wanting more and paying for nothing,

Scorn within the heart of a fatherless child,
Prey that lays itself down,
Eyes wide with anticipation,
Wicked angels tearing at his wings for their amusement,

Injecting the first venom burned with a lucid heat,
Crawling up the arm, shoulder, and neck,
The second venom was a sweet orange blossom honey stung into the tongue,
Viscous debilitating poison,

Tied down in a heavenly prison,
There's no such things as right or wrong,
At fault for thinking things would be different for once,
What was brought unto him consumed everything inside.
