This work is dedicated to WhiteFangKakashi300 for her work on The Secret of Kells fanart! She really rocks, and it was her stuff that gave me the inspiration to do this. I tried to give Merida the bushy, wild har from the movie and keep the Kells style. How'd I do?

You all remember the fair maiden of Scotland who nearly ruined her family with a magic pie? Well, I thought that once when she and Angus are riding, they are attacked by brigands and are helped in defeating them by a red-headed teenager. He introduces himself as Brendan, and leads Merida to his place to heal her wounds with the help of his aging mentor, Aidan, and his cat, Pangur Ban.

The two have been travelling since their abbey in Ireland was destroyed, and are in Scotland to return to the ruins of Iona for a relic that was stored there. What happens next? I'm going to make a fanfic! Yay!
