Description
A scene from 'The Black Unicorn' by the late Tanith Lee. The Peeve watches from Tanaquil's bed as she fixes a new piece of hoof to her latest fix-it project. She has no idea yet that she has found (most of) the remains of a long dead unicorn.I tried to incorporate spirally objects that hint at the missing horn.
I'm not completely happy with it but it was taking so long (urgh, crystal skeleton!) I hope to improve upon it one day.
I would welcome criticism on this , as I am eager to get it 'right' but can't quite seem to.

This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. And I don't know how you did it, but it looks exactly as I imagined Tanaquil's room in my mind's eye so many years ago when I read this book. Since I was a preteen, envisioning Tanaquil's world was one of my escapes, and I kind of incorporated it into my own "world". This is absolutely perfect. It's haunting.
