okay so, these look like garbage but...at least now they're all together... there was a time when i thought i was a cool dude, and i thought, wow yeah i can be a concept artist, it's just designing characters, right?...right? (nO)and that's how my sketchbook was filled with redraws of stick figures ;;; v ;
I know they look nothing like what the original creators drew them as, because i tried to challenge myself to come up with my own visualizations of them. I thought it would be a good exercise, since the color palette of the characters are limited. I had to look up some stuff about the characters and see what i could get there. so forgive me.
left to right, top to bottom:
- yoyo, chuck, alfa, trntl, yupia, foxtail, umbrella (he kinda looks wonky here), and micwizard, munch, gildedguy, mr.pix and bog.
- Shuriken, tention, nhazul, jade, yupia, chuck.
- a blurry umbrella, gildedguy, fordz, (aaa i'm so dumb i always forget this armless stick, figure's name o v o;; ), foxtail, a concept for the back of chuck's jacket (a biker-style, emblazed dragon on his back).
- (not rhg?) but one of the sassy owls (my sister loves them, and so i drew something about them for her, a doodle of alfa and chuck (eating something?) , another yoyo, an alternate sketch of yupia with her mask on, yoyo again.
- bog, shadowrose, (top) prettyshadowrose, early sketch of the owls (this time both of them)
none of these characters belong to me, but they belong to everyone who are so awesome and gave their creative idea to us :^0000
since it's also 4am im going to bed goodnight guys!

I love Hyun's dojo and what they do there. I like how they really embrace creativity and showcasing your best work. But I'm afraid I'm too much of an amateur to join. My primitive work can't match the caliber of skill that's on there.
(I'd like to stay here so I can perfect my skills or something hehe then, I can maybe join the dojo. Though, You alone appreciating my doodle makes me work one step closer to striving to become better already :> Thanks!!)

Wow, that's a lot! I did my best to see which ones I could recognize and which I could not. I like how you did ones like Bog, Umbrella, Munch, Mr Pix, and Foxtail!
Though a small part I should mention. Yupia is actually blind, but some of her cybernetic enhancements give her Daredevil-style super senses. So she can't really see like that.
The armless one is named Cyriztz, so you know. Yeah, it's a weird name.
There's another armless RHG I've seen too, called Plate, but I can see that the one you drew clearly isn't Plate.
You make Foxtail look super fluffy! I like that! Cute and Fluffy things are the best!
Your rendition of Bog is awesome! Really brings out the Slime Monster part in him! It almost looks like Bubbles all over his body.

Sorry for late reply, but hello! thank you so much. i'm glad you like it. It's my first time uploading some really experimental stuff. the feedback is really nice, thank you very much for that. i'm also glad you like the really weird rendition of foxtail. I was inspired somewhat by Felicia from the darkstalkers series.
Yes. I'm also aware that yupia is blind. this sketch of her is actually before i read her backstory. I thought she had pink eyes so i thought i could emphasize it through her black visor. after reading though, i did eventually give in to just basing it off of the original, which you can see below foxtail. But i liked this rendition so much that i kept drawing it. I was inspired somewhat by Alisa Bosconovitch, and the robots from portal. Mainly, my goal was to really make her look fierce and artificial. which, i don't know if i did a good job on??? i'm blind to my own drawings
Cyriztz, yes. Unfortunately i can't recall the name very well. I think it's because of how the letters are arranged...it just wouldn't stick. but thank you for telling me. I've been writing his name somewhere every time i scribble him around since. I've never heard of Plate, but perhaps i can check him out someday, too.
Foxtail is really nice and fun to draw! I'll happily keep drawing this rendition if you like. I wish i knew how to draw nice cutesy things, it's a good break in the doodle routine every once in a while. i agree with you! cute and fluffy things are the ultimate best! they're so huggable and fun!
Thank you for liking this weird bog scribble i'm so happy I was just thinking about everything gross for bog, pock-marks, holes, bubbles, pus, phlegm, veins --both obtrusive and exposed--all aside from the usual melting, acid slime goop stuff. Every character was really inspired by something. Originally i wanted to go for something that looks like wildmutt from ben 10 alongside some inspiration from the appearance of the flood from halo. all this was kind of formed in my head before i had a full idea of bog. the very right sketch of him is supposed to be pulsating exposed muscle which i probably didn't so do anatomically well. it was inspired by the magician, in the house of the dead. 2 i think? the one with the weird arm
and yes, those are the owls. they're probably not rhg but it's always awesome seeing their videos! it was a good request from my sister ahah

Oh yes! I love Alisa Boskonovich and her high-tech gadgetry (I also love her whole exploding regenerating head thing). Alisa is also super cute too! I can see some definite Portal Inspiration there too.

I am glad you love cute things like me! You can see that almost all the stuff I draw is super cute! So huggable and lovable! Heck, my favorite anime series are just filled with Foxtail-level (or higher) cuties!
I pity those who don't see the greatness of cute stuff. In fact, only a few weeks ago, two nimrods showed up on my DA Page, saying that I am a disgrace for being into cute stuff, and even told me to kill myself because of it! Can you believe it! Of course I blocked them, but these people like this I just can't stand, and I've met too many jerks like them on DA! Why won't they all leave me alone?!
Oh yes, House of the Dead! Those games are cool. Bog definitely seems like he'd make a good foe like something out of one of those games. I'm glad to see you're taking a liking in him too.

I like your rendition of the Owls. They look like some sort of Plague Doctors crossed with Gangsters. I really love those sorts of Plague Doctor looks, so I give this a thumbs up for your rendition!
