Random Lemony Snicket reference is random. The Count in this comic is, as some of you might have recognized, Count Bloodcount from the Chuck Jones cartoon Transylvania 6-5000. Though he's not actually dubbed by Paul Frees, he sounds rather remarkably like the Ghost Host, hence this silly crossover — not to mention the cartoon is a gem (but then again, it's 60's Chuck Jones, so of course it is).
