Lucas took one look at the big shiny ponyta and new from the start that he wasn't going to win in a race against the pokemon, the mission says that he could do anything to win, so he had a secret weapon hidden behind a bush somewhere along the track.
Ready...
Set...
GO!
With a blast of speed, the two where off, and the ponyta was winning. Lucas kept on using quick attack so he would at least come beside him, but the fire pokemon would gain a couple of yards.
But then.
"MUMPH!!"
The ponyta fell in the first pit fall seed trap. Lucas darted ahead of him, dodging the traps and stood up, grabbing the sac of pit fall seeds and his roommate's silver shovel.
"Sorry!" The plusle yelled as he ran to the finish line.

Arg... my eyes burn. I can see a lot of things wrong with this, but I am not working on this for a third time. That, and it is 12:30 PMish. If you want to know where Lucas got pit fall seeds from, he probably wouldn't tell you, but he does have a lot of them, and hates seeing pokemon and humans alike fall into them, so he barely uses them... Oh! Also, if you don't know what a pit fall seed is, it is a reference to animal crossing. A ha ha, his face.
Lucas obtained 10 berries and a Quick Claw Trinket
