I think ever since Oliver met Dusk, he liked him, and they would hang out all the time.
Dusk gave Oliver a scarf, but one day the 2 eevees in the backround (probably Oliver's parents or siblings) in one of the panels saw them together. They didn't like them together (I think) and one of them burned the scarf away.
I think it's sad ;-;
