Blondie rolled her eyes as she watched Danni excitedly pull various items from a Pets At Home carrier bag, dispersing them all over the carpet until you could barely see it. Witches hats, devil wings on a dog harness, fake cobwebs, bat hair bands and multiple halloween themed collars and leads surrounded Danni, and she looked at Blondie with a certain grin on her face. Blondie instantly felt worried. She knew what that look meant. Hopefully this stuff wasn't for her to wear, surely? She stood quietly, then backed out of the room slowly before dashing up the stairs to hide under the bed. No way was she wearing any of that stuff. That would SO cramp her style - all the other girls in the pack would see and laugh. Cringe, no thanks.

Blondie huffed as she looked at her reflection in the mirror. She looked RIDICULOUS in her witch's hat and cape and she was not happy about it and most certainly didn't want to venture outside looking like this. She had an image to uphold as the best looking girl around, she wouldn't be caught dressed up in some silly outfit. She pouted as Danni clipped her lead on and she reluctantly made her way outside. This was going to be a disaster.

The air was crisp and pleasant as they made their way up to the first house, Blondie grumpier than ever and hanging her tail. "Oh come on, girl, it's really not that bad! I think you look adorable!" laughed Danni at the typical teenage hound as she adjusted the hat so it sat at a slight angle. Blondie grunted. Adorable? She didn't want to look adorable. The doorbell rang and there was a shuffle on the other side of the door and a key was turned. "Oh my! Don't you look lovely! What a beautiful dog!" admired the lady, bending down to give Blondie a juicy treat and a little stroke on her back. Blondie grinned for the first time that evening - maybe it wouldn't be such a disaster if there were treats involved!
