I'm more of a fan of the Australian Labradoodle, then goldendoodles. From my own personal experiences with the breed, goldendoodles tend to turn out over sized (100+) and ah tad bonkers. Tho, I tend to blame the golden they picked for the pairing for the litter. While ALs have been bred for quite a number of years to have over 10 gens for some lines.
This breeder is one of my favorites, for we get 6 of his dogs in, with different owners, at the grooming salon I work at. All are stunning sweet bugs, great coats and each are a stunning red. Adore them.
I was tempted to start a Australian Labradoodle line for here but never got to it.Β o.o

Originally i was very against their breeding because of the whole designer dog thing. But then i realized they actually have great working potential and i stopped caring (aside from shitty fad breeders) haha

Yeah I was always a little iffy about it, I volunteer at my local shelter and it's sad to see the doodles and cockerpoos etc that get dumped there as people get them completely based on their looks which is such a shame (they're always the first to get re-adopted though haha). But they really are great dogs, so intelligent and versatile!Β
