An artist is the most emotionally dangerous job in the world by far... as long as you have a healthy ego.
As long as the idea are good, I have no problem with one sided "collaborations" as long as it's good and fun. I think I've had that guy in front of you a million times talk to me.

Yes, this guy comes to me asking for a collab *comics* project because he was interested on my AGE4 interactive comics engine I have used in my gallery. But then he starts explaining what he wants, and it involves writing a whole new web comics engine that has *nothing* in common with my existing one.
Sometimes people loose track of reality - like asking me to program a web engine that can run MMO 3D games in Oblivion-like scale with thousands of players - on a web browser with no 3D acceleration!! I explained the facts, but he is NOT LISTENING... O_o;
I said he has to come down to reality, and then he asks "what if you make it only for 500 players"?
