Nice. I'd like to counter one of the above comments about the glow: I like the glow because it is more than just the perimeter of the drawing, it hits all of her curves--it gets your attention. The background is a very nice addition, it gives her a bit more of a superhero look, but I can't explain why.

Well...i'd recommend "Great Lakes Avengers" (Marvel), which is dark and angsty...but also with a skewed sense of humor. And if dark and angsty is your thing, definitely check out Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" (DC)....also Gaiman's Elizabethan interpretation of the Marvel Universe is nothing short of genius in "1602".....

Oh oh, I've been meaning to check out the Sandman series. I've read both Neverwhere and American Gods, he is an amazing story teller! I will check these out...thanks for the recommendations!

Anansi Boys is the sequel/spin-off to American Gods--check it out. Also, Neverwhere has been made into a comic now, and I really, really, recommend Stardust.

I like your color--it's reminds me of that new Grant Morrison Superman that's out now...I just shifted to a darker background so it would be a bit different than yours.....but your line art lends itself to good colors, and I look forward to seeing more. Thanks again!
