So, I was on the way to MWC '05, when I decided to snap a shot of myself. Okay, so I do that often, but it's not often enough. I liked this shot the best, and it was really an effortless shot, hence the name. It really was a snapshot, but it had "artistic merit" so it's here under Spontaneous. I also thought that it went well under Art Photography: "Art Photography is intended for art-for-art's-sake: photographs taken because they relate meaning, because they've captured beauty." It captures beauty, no?This was taken sometime in November...like, the eighteenth or somewhere around there.
Theres no copyright, so I guess you kids can steal it..................no. Please don't.

You really didnt take the time and effort to really take this shot. There are so many tthings you could have done better to make the shot look more appealing and professional. One you could have focused a bit more, for the focus seems to be on your shirt, and not on your face.
Another thing is that you didnt take the time to post process it. Possibly clear up unwanted acne, blemishes, scars, as well as touch up the color on your skin to make it look more natural, or glossy. I suggest you put more effort into your work, and you'll get better at it.

Well, the name is "Effortless, really." It was kind of irrelevant for you to tell me that I didn't put effort into this shot. Plus, I said it was more of a snapshot. I took the picture in a moving van with my own hand. No tripod or anything. It wasn't supposed to be professional. I don't really believe in clearing up blemishes and scars and crap like that. I like to see people for who they really are. And about the color on my skin not looking natural, that's just dumb. I didn't do anything to this picture, so how can it not be natural?
Geez, next time you give a critique, check out everything someone does to clear up confusion. It's under flippin' spontaneous portraits for goodness' sake! If I editted it it would be with all my other digitally-altered photography.
Grrrrrr...I keep getting more angry at your ignorance as I continue writing. Please don't take this too personal. I'm just really tired and it's annoying when people give totally irrelevant critiquage.

It's not irrelevant, I just get a lot of this comming from somebody of your skill level. I just try to help and point things out but I get attacked for hurting your work.

2. I was not attacking you because you were critiquing. I was mad because you were critiquing on things that I already pointed out and already knew. It's annoying when people don't read what I have written.
Conclusion: Stop being gay. (Not literally. Just don't pretend your better than everyone else and read the artist's comments, because they are important...usually.)

Ummm...the reason said things weren't corrected prior to posting was, and I quote, "It's under flippin' spontaneous portraits for goodness' sake! If I editted it it would be with all my other digitally-altered photography." Stop dogging his pic and just let it be. He didn't want to edit it, that's that. Who made you God? If he wanted it to be a model pic, he would have touched it up and made it unrecognizable. But he didn't and I'm happy. That's the real guy that we know and love. Gracias for your time.
