The 90th Formula One Grand Prix win for Micheal Schumacher at the Gran Premio d'Italia on September 10th 2006I had been itching to do something to mark the career of the greatest driver in the history of the sport and decided to capture the moment
when Micheal crossed the finish line at Ferrari's home grand prix for the last time, as he made his announcement to retire shortly after this victory.
So in an artistically violent mood last night, I sat down for 3 hours and with Copic markers, Derwent Artist crayons and Artline permanenet markers went ape-shit on A2 size 200gsm Ashrad paper.
I think it captures the speed and passion of that moment and my unbreakable love affair with all things Ferrari
