Description Pluvia Luventutis|8,349 Years

It was about 2 years after ‘that’ incident. Ezekiel had trained Skye to control her powers and use them properly. All seems normal right? Wrong, no one asked anyways. One day, Ezekiel was going to go to the mainland to do a ‘scouting mission’. What his true motive was was to really just to adventure. The higher ups didn’t know of this and thought that he was just chilling in his room. After 100’s of years of investigation, segrw38 had finally uncovered the truth about Ezekiel. Let’s start from the beginning—not really, im gonna start a new part after this chapter,  so we’ll start….somewhere.

So then, it turned out that firstly, Ezekiel’s real name was Kuilerin. His past, we’ll talk about that next part. But something that they knew that was quite important to them was that Ezekiel was not a soldier. I mean like, he was a soldier, but he was not a part of the system. Basically, Ezekiel had never registered, and it took 8,349 years for them to realise. But with Ezekiel’s past, it was understandable. If he had registered, he would have been rejected and hunted. Before he became a soldier, was treated as though he had no rights. That was because he actually didn’t. Another thing about Ezekiel was that he still had no rights, so basically, anyone in the facility could abuse Ezekiel and get away with it. But when the finalisation of the investigation was broadcasted all over segrw38, though it was a little hard to take in, every soldier in felt for Ezekiel. All the soldiers knew that cheating rights is basically a death wish. But when in a situation of life and infinite suffering, cheating rights is somewhat justifiable. But anyways, the higher ups held a vote to decide what they should do with the fugitive. Despite the fact that Ezekiel wasn’t a part of segrw38, every soldier had voted in favour of him because of the great impact that he had left on each and every soldier. And so, the vote was finalised and the results were that Ezekiel would not be facing charges and will be accepted into segrw38.

In the meantime, Ezekiel had just come back from his adventure. He had tired himself out by travelling to the mainland. What seperates all the lands in the dimension is an ocean. At the bottom of the ocean, there was even more life. (I will not go into further detail until next part). When he got to the mainland, he visited the capital of the dimension. The capital was essentially surrounded by a massive circular wall that made a circle with a diameter of 200 miles. The city within was colossal. Houses, apartments, penthouses, offices, industrial structures, factories, lakes, rivers, parks, reserves, you name it. In the very middle of the capital was a wall that was even thicker than the outside wall which had a diameter of 20 km. Within that wall was a massive tower surrounded by a residence and a garden. The tower housed the most important of the dimension. The superior of them all was the Empress of Lilysfandia, Raina. Raina was a dragon who was 8 metres in height and the scales all over her body were pristine both in colour and condition. Other dragons and beings were at least 6 metres tall in their non-human forms. The thing about the empress was that almost no one had ever identified or even seen her in her human form. That was except for one. But unfortunately, the ‘one’ was killed while defending the empress.

Anyways, back at the facility, Ezekiel returned back to his room, having no clue of what had just unfolded. Inside his room, Ezekiel sat on his bed with a depressed look on his face. In his mind, he was reflecting on his past life. I’m sure you can see the the title of this chapter is a number instead of a phrase or words. 8,349 years is how long Ezekiel had been in the facility. However, Ezekiel could only keep in his true form from resurfacing for 8,350 years. Another thing is that those years would end in about 2 days. 2 DAYS!!

“But why can’t this guy just change and change back again?” You may ask.
“Well, with Ezekiel, after his time is up, he will only be able to turn back to his human form for a maximum of about 2 years at a time. And another thing is that there is a cooldown of about a week so it wouldn’t be so easy.”
“Stay hidden?”
“No, he’s got a job to do, lol.”

Ezekiel knew he had to confess really soon. There was only now or too late, because if he were to change back without notice, then the facility was sure to terminate him. So Ezekiel went to the higher ups’ office and began to confess. However, reading the anxiety on him, the higher ups told him ‘it was okay’ before he even said anything. They told him that they had been investigating him for a few 100 years.

As they continued, Ezekiel began to wear profusely. He was now fearing for his life, because he had lied about himself for over 8,000 years. He was expecting harsh treatment, but the the superior of the higher ups calmly told him that Ezekiel would not be treated harshly, nor will he be shamed on. The superior told Ezekiel that everyone in segrw38 knows of his identity and also told him all this with his real name.

“Oh and, Kuilerin. Please don’t feel ashamed,” The superior said with a smile. “And also, we found out that you change back tommorow. We know your size, so I would recommend sleeping outside, in the ruins. Get some fresh air and sleep well.”
“Whah-Buh-, what if I wreak havoc?” Ezekiel frantically asked. “What if I cause a scene? What if I kill someone??”
“It’s okay, Kuilerin,” the superior said with a soothing voice. As they pat his shoulder. “We’ll find a way, without using too much force. It’s okay, we won’t injure you,” they assured.

“Thank you,” Ezekiel said gratefully.

It was later when Ezekiel settled down outside, waiting for his transformation. He stayed up, thinking about what he would be able to do when he turns back. Soon, he fell asleep, letting his being change.
